Part of a series describing a survey and subsequent research on how economic and institutional factors influence birthspacing, family size, and breastfeeding in Malaysia, this report contains detailed maps and informal field descriptions of the 52 Primary Sampling Units (PSUs) in the sample. The descriptions are based on interviews with local officials and residents, and on the author’s personal observations made in 1976 and 1977.
