The Civilian Airline Industry's Role in Military Pilot Retention: Beggarman or Thief?

This study finds that factors other than civilian airline hiring affect military pilot retention. It also identifies a potential problem in the longer term, when civilian airlines will desire to hire more pilots than the military is able to release.
