A description of Laboratory Problem I (LP-I), the first large-scale logistics simulation performed in RAND'S Logistics Systems Laboratory to evaluate a set of proposed supply policies and procedures. These policies and procedures were used in simulated Air Force environment and compared with another set of policies based on Air Force logistics practices that were more or less current in mid-1956.
